Jennifer Justice

Originally from Missouri, Jennifer moved to Virginia when she was 8. She began playing volleyball in 7th grade at Aylor Middle School. She played basketball, volleyball and track and field all four years at Sherando High School. After graduating in 2000, she played Club Rugby at Radford University. She graduated in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise, Sport and Health Education with a concentration in Sports Administration. She has been the Athletic Coordinator at Winchester Parks and Recreation for the past 11 years where she created the youth volleyball program. She currently resides in Stephen City with her husband Brock and two kids Reese and Logan. She actively competes in adult volleyball tournaments and leagues. She has coached many teams for a variety of sports and is excited to start her career as a Club coach at Blue Ridge.


Imani Major

A 2016 graduate from Millbrook High School, Imani Major joins the Blue Ridge Volleyball Club Coaching Staff as a Head Coach for this season. While at Millbrook, Imani received many awards including Winchester Star Volleyball Player of the Year, Conference 21A West Player of the Year, and was a 2nd Team All-State Selection. After playing as an Outside Hitter for Millbrook, Imani was recruited to play Division 2 volleyball at Shepherd University. While at Shepherd, Imani led her team in digs as the Libero and helped Shepherd University to their first NCAA Tournament appearance in 2018. Imani joins us from Potomac Elite Volleyball Club where she previously coached, and was most recently the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the program. Imani is very excited to contribute to the BRVA environment and is looking forward to a successful program.


Katie Houser

Katie Houser played outside hitter at the University of Georgia and Semi-Professionally for the Colombian National Team in 2019. Also has experience playing with international professional teams in Austria, Switzerland, Slovenia, Italy and China. In 2018, Houser represented University of Georgia’s team as a Captain while also earning All Academic honors. Houser is a James Wood Alumni and earned three letters at James Wood High School. Named a Second-Team Under Armour All-American (2014) and a special mention All-American as a senior. Houser holds the school record for most kills in a season and in a career...Named the Northwestern district, regional and state 4A Player of the Year in 2014. Houser totaled 451 kills on the 2014 year, to move into top 10 in Virginia High School League history for a single season.

Katie worked closely with University of Georgia coaches Joe Trinsey and Tom Black (now Canadian National Team Coach) to learn Gold Medal Squared techniques. In the summers of 2015-2018 coached clinics and camps at the University of Notre Dame as well as the University of Georgia. Has experience as a private skills coach. 

Kelly Braun-Duin

This will be Kelly's 3rd year coaching for BRVA. She brings a lifetime of volleyball experience to the team. First, as a local high school player, Kelly earned many honors including Conference Player of the Year as a senior. She followed that up by playing four years of collegiate volleyball at Bryan College in Dayton, TN. Since then she has begun to transfer her knowledge and experience gained in her playing days over into coaching. Presently, she is the head varsity coach at Legacy Christian Academy where she also teaches fourth grade. She enjoys working with young players and helping them learn the fundamentals of volleyball. She believes that if each girl has a teachable attitude and a strong work ethic they will grow as a player. Kelly is always trying to better herself as she recently participated in a GMS coaching clinic at NC State in Raleigh, NC.

Kelly was born and raised in Winchester, VA. Now she resides in Stephens City with her husband of 15 years and their three children. 



Jeff Konrady


Jeff grew up in South Florida where he competed in both beach doubles and High School indoor sixes as a middle hitter.  Upon graduating High School Jeff joined the Marine Corps and continued playing while stationed in D.C. and California in multiple tournaments from beach doubles to 4’s grass to indoor sixes.  After traveling the world in the Marines Jeff settled in Frederick County where he lives with his wife Emily and their 4 daughters who range from preschool to college. The older three girls have all played since elementary school age throughout High School. Jeff began coaching for FCPRD and WPRD in 2007 with his oldest daughter and has continued to coach and play through the years.  Jeff is very excited to be apart of the BRVA family and continue to mentor and coach our younger players to help them reach the highest levels of the game.

Brandy Corbin

I am so excited to bring my playing and coaching experience to Blue Ridge. I began playing volleyball in 7th grade. I played basketball, volleyball, and softball all four years of high school. After graduating in 1998, I played collegiate volleyball at West Virginia University and Shenandoah University. Graduating in 2002 with a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, I was blessed to get my first Physical Education job at James Wood Middle School, where I also coached girls basketball and volleyball. After 3 years, I decided to start teaching in the private schools. I have been an Athletic Director, coach, and teacher. I enjoy teaching students of all ages. I am currently physical education teacher at Eukarya Christian Academy. I currently reside in Gore, Va with my wonderful husband Charlie of 15 years and two amazing kids Blake who is 12 and Brenna who is 9. This will be Brandy’s 2nd season coaching for BRVA.

Caylin Harris

Coach Harris was a standout at Nansemond-Suffolk Academy where she earned individual state and conference honors as well as leading her team to two state championships. Caylin played travel for Coastal Virginia Volleyball Club in Virginia Beach before coming to Shenandoah University to play for Coach Terenzi. She recently attended a 3 day GMS coaching clinic at Indiana University of Pennslyvania. This will be her senior season at SU and we are happy to have her for a 4th year coaching here at BRVA.

Kristen Larson

Kristen has been involved with volleyball as a player and coach for the past 26 years. After graduating from Penn State, she served as an assistant coach for 2 yrs at her former high school in PA. After taking time off to start a family, she got back into coaching youth volleyball which she has done for the past 8 yrs. This will be her 5th season coaching here at Blue Ridge.

Whitney Snapp

Whitney has been playing volleyball for more than 10 years. She is a 2009 graduate of James Wood High School where she played at the JV and Varsity level as an outside hitter. Throughout high school she gained more experience by participating with the EPAN travel team for 3 years. In her spare time Whitney enjoys playing rec ball. This will be her 2nd year coaching here at BRVA.

P.W. Hillyard

P.W. has been coaching various athletic teams since graduating from West Virginia University in 1990.  He began coaching travel club volleyball in 2010 as a volunteer assistant with EPAN Volleyball Club.  He was the head JV coach for two seasons and the head varsity coach for 2 seasons at James Wood High School and this will be his 5th year coaching  at Blue Ridge Volleyball Association. He has been fortunate to work with some of the area's most successful coaches including Shawn Martz and Jill Couturiaux.  P.W. believes that a team’s success starts with  being fundamentally sound.  Additionally, teams must play a high level of competition to reach their highest potential.  He is looking forward to coaching some of our area's best players and competing in tournaments that will give the teams great exposure.

Megan Hillyard

Former James Wood High School standout and current Shenandoah starting setter Megan Hillyard will be coaching her second season here for BRVA. Megan was a varsity setter all four years for James Wood. Three of her four years James Wood advanced to the state tournament.  She was the MVP and earned first team all-conference awards her junior and senior years and earned first team all-region and second team all-state awards her senior year. Megan holds the JamesWood High School record for most career assists.  She has played travel volleyball for both EPAN and BRVA travel clubs.

Joy White

Joy and David White each come to BRVA with 25+ years of competitive volleyball play experience in both sixes and doubles. Joy played both high school and collegiate volleyball, and following college, Dave and Joy continued to play on USAV teams.  They both competed at the Open level in grass and sand doubles and, together, have won several coed grass doubles tournaments.  They have been coaches for the FCPRD volleyball league for the past 6 years, earning recognition as Volunteers of the Year in 2016.  This is their 4th season as coaches with BRVA. They believe the right combination of fundamentals, competition and fun make for the best possible volleyball experience. Dave and Joy are passionate about growing the level of volleyball in this area and are excited to coach these young ladies this season!

Certifications: both are GMS, SafeSport, and USAV Impact certified. Dave is also Beach Impact Certified


Dave White

Jaime Terenzi

Jaime has been head coaching collegiate volleyball in NCAA Division III schools since 2008.  Prior to Shenandoah University, she coached at Wheaton College and Newbury College. At Newbury she coached both men's and women's programs, winning a conference championship with the men and a runner-up with the women. Also winning coach of the year at Newbury in 2012. She has an additional 12 years of high school coaching experience at LaSalle Academy (RI) and Seekonk High School (MA) where her teams have won state championships and she received Coach of the Year Honors.  She played 3 years for Springfield College in Massachusetts.

This will be Jamie’s 5th year coaching for BRVA.

Samantha Schambach

Sam played at Osbourne Park High School and was a four year starter at playing virtually every offensive position at Shenandoah University . She played club for Ichiban and started playing when she was in 6th grade. She coached camps and clinics for Ichiban and was a camp instructor  at SU as well. We are excited to have Sam back for her 2nd season!
